Juliette's Wellness Courses
Juliette offers two courses right now. One is focused on Achieving Health Beyond the Scale. In this course, students will learn about important health factors beyond weight loss and create individualized health plans for the year.
The other course is Kickboxing for Mental Health where students will learn kickboxing moves as a tool to help better regulate their emotions. Students will learn more about their emotions and how these emotions can be felt in the body, as well as many body-oriented coping tools to help.
Achieving Health Beyond the Scale
Learn about health beyond the "drop 10 lbs this year" mentality. This course will teach you why weight loss should not be the sole focus of achieving better health, and which important health factors we should be paying attention to instead.
Kickboxing for Mental Health
Learn basic kickboxing moves as a coping tool to better your mental health. This course focuses on the emotions of anger, anxiety, trauma and chronic stress. You will learn how these emotions affect you mentally and physically, and how this kickboxing curriculum can help you better tune into and release these emotions.
Juliette received her Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Juliette is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #8284), and is also licensed with Washington Department of Health as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (#LH 61123929).
In addition to being a licensed mental health therapist, Juliette is also a certified fitness professional.
Juliette has worked as a counselor in various mental health clinics and school settings for the past few years, working to help her clients recover and heal from a variety of complex mental health concerns.
Juliette works from a person-centered, holistic and integrative approach in all that she does, recognizing that not one size fits all, that it sometimes takes a combination of remedies and modalities to achieve your goals, and that YOU can truly be the expert of your own life.
She believes that in achieving these goals, the path to get there is always unique to the individual. Juliette believes that movement and creativity are also important aspects to wellness, where she includes these aspects into her therapeutic interventions with clients whenever appropriate.
Juliette hopes to help others achieve better health and wellness by becoming more in tune with themselves and their bodies, and by integrating different wellness modalities.
